washi tape garland

Hello everyone!
Today I have a simple but super cute DIY for you all! Its a washi tape garland and you can make one to decorate your walls, gifts, cards, etc! Almost anything really! So here it is and I hope you enjoy! Please comment below if you liked it/if you tried it! 

Lets get started, shall we?

You will need:

+ scissors

+ washi tape

+ string

+ card (optional)

Step 1 //

Get some string and cut as much as you want. I think I cut about 30 cm's of string which was more than enough but it's better to cut more than less!

Step 2 //

Collect your washi tape and cut about 7 cm's of it. If you don't have a ruler on hand then you can just guess because it doesn't matter that much!

Step 3 //

So this part is tricky to explain but I hope you can understand haha! For this, you basically put the washi tape so that the middle of the piece of washi tape is on the string. Again, don't worry too much about it, it doesn't have to be perfect!

Step 4 //

Now that you've put your washi tape on the string, stick it to itself

Step 5 //

Cut a little triangle out of your washi tape like so ^

Step 6 //

Repeat a few times (if you are making this to go on a card, 4 bits of washi tape will work well for a portrait card and 6 for a landscape card)

Yaaay you are finished! Now you can decorate your card or whatever you like!
